Soon, we drove to a spot near the back of the school. Guided by Chu Mengchu, we crossed the school's back gate and arrived at a grassy field behind it.

The area behind the school used to be a village, but most of the villagers had since moved away. A few sparse trees dotted the lawn, and there were no streetlights. However, the school dormitory building stood just beyond a single wall, and thanks to the light spilling from its windows, visibility was reasonably clear.

Chu Mengchu and I strolled over, arm in arm. Already, fifty or sixty people had gathered there, either standing or squatting in dense groups. Among them were the dozen or so male students I had seen earlier that afternoon. They stood opposite another group of forty or fifty people, forming two distinctly contrasting factions.

"Sister Meng, where are the people you called?" The dozen boys from the afternoon immediately approached us as soon as they saw us, casting hostile and deeply displeased glances in my direction.

"I didn't call anyone. You guys should leave," Chu Mengchu said indifferently.

On the way here, I had once again admonished her against having any further involvement with them, and she had given me a firm guarantee.

The dozen boys exchanged bewildered glances before glaring fiercely at me once more.

Without breaking my stride, I walked past them and said calmly, "Stay away from my sister from now on, or the people on the opposite side will be your fate. Just stand aside and watch!"

"Damn it! Who the hell do you think you are, acting all arrogant? We've put up with you for a long time. If it weren't for Sister Meng's sake, we would've taught you a lesson long ago," cursed the boy with the ear stud viciously, echoed by a few others.

"You won't regret saying those words later," I replied expressionlessly, having already pulled Chu Mengchu past them.

The forty or fifty people on the opposite side had all stood up. A dozen or so among them walked over with swaggering gaits.

I released Chu Mengchu and smiled. "Mengmeng, wait here. Your big brother is about to show off."

Chu Mengchu immediately wrapped her arms tightly around mine without saying a word. She clearly looked somewhat nervous.

Aside from a small number of students holding iron pipes and baseball bats, most of the students on the other side were empty-handed. Among the dozen people walking over were several girls, two of whom were quite attractive.

"Chu Mengchu, didn't you say you were going to call people to deal with us? Where are they?" A pretty girl with dyed yellow hair puffed arrogantly on a cigarette, her chin lifted as she stared at us with a mixture of contempt and malice.

A thought suddenly occurred to me, and I turned my head to ask, "Mengmeng, have you ever learned to smoke?"

Chu Mengchu was taken aback, clearly not expecting me to ask such a thing at a time like this. Hesitantly, she replied, "I tried one once. It was too harsh, so I stopped."

"Good girl, Mengmeng!" I withdrew my hand, patted her head, and then gave her a gentle nudge with a smile. "Step back a bit. Trust your big brother."

At that moment, I glanced sideways and saw that the dozen boys were still standing in their original spots, showing no intention of coming over. Chu Mengchu, having been thoroughly prepped by me along the way, retreated not far from those boys, though her hands tightly gripped her shoulder bag.

"Damn it! Who the fuck are you? Are you Chu Mengchu's boyfriend? Doesn't this bitch usually pretend to be all high and mighty?" yelled a yellow-haired boy, throwing his cigarette to the ground, grinding it out with his foot, and glaring malevolently.

"I'm Chu Mengchu's older brother, and I'm here today to leave you with one message: whoever dares to touch a single hair on her head, I will make wish they were dead!" I raised my voice, walking expressionlessly toward the yellow-haired boy as I spoke. "For someone with a dirty mouth like yours, breaking both of your hands is the lightest punishment!"

"Fuck your mother! Let's see whose hands get broken!" the yellow-haired boy roared in fury, lashing out with a kick aimed at my chest.

My eyes widened with a murderous aura as sharp as a blade. My left hand shot out like lightning, gripping his ankle with the force of an iron vice. My right hand came down in a swift karate chop. With a crisp snap of shattering bone, the shinbone of the yellow-haired boy broke instantly.

Before he could even let out a scream, I released his foot, thrust both hands forward to grab his wrists, and snapped them simultaneously with a sharp jerk. Two consecutive cracks echoed as the bones in his hands fractured.

Ah!

Only then did he unleash a blood-curdling scream of excruciating agony.

I roared furiously, "Now whose hands are broken!"

I lashed out with a kick straight to his chest, sending him flying backward through the air. He hit the ground, gave a slight twitch, and instantly passed out cold.

All the thugs around him turned pale with shock and rushed forward with furious shouts. The rest of the thugs in the distance, who hadn't moved yet, all sprang to their feet in unison and charged at me.

A steel baseball bat came hurtling down toward my head from my left. With an angry shout, I spun around and lashed out with my left leg at a speed so blinding it was practically invisible. A sharp snap rang out, and the arm holding the baseball bat was broken.

At that moment, an iron rod two fingers thick came hurtling violently from my front, cleaving the air with a fierce whistling sound. My left leg struck out in a continuous motion, sweeping backward instantly.

Clang!

The sound of clashing metal rang out. The iron rod instantly bent, shooting off into the air at breakneck speed and emitting a humming vibration.

In the blink of an eye, I plunged into the crowd like a tiger among sheep. My legs moved like two battleaxes; wherever I went, the sound of breaking bones played in an endless loop, and heart-wrenching screams filled the entire grassy field.

I hadn't come here to play house with these students.

The students who hadn't yet surrounded me were already scared out of their wits—was this even a fight?! They immediately turned tail and ran.

"Stop right there!" I bellowed, my voice brimming with inner power, exploding like a thunderclap.

All the students instantly froze in their tracks, trembling violently!

"Remember my words: whoever dares to mess with Chu Mengchu, I will make them wish they were dead! You are no match for me!" I roared, my eyes blazing with murderous intent. My momentum surged like a rainbow; even standing alone, I could vividly feel that my presence had formed an invisible net, trapping the entire grassy field.

Aside from the dozen or so people on the ground who were still stifling their groans, everyone else was struck dumb with terror, staring at me in dread.

I swept a cold gaze across the students, then strode over to a pine tree roughly the thickness of a soup bowl. With a sudden explosive roar, I executed a high kick with my right leg, slamming it fiercely into the trunk.

Crack!

Under the irresistible force of my kick, the soup bowl-thick pine trunk snapped cleanly and instantly. Although the break was uneven, there was no splintering whatsoever—it had been shattered completely by a single blow of ultimate strength and maximum penetration.

Forget about my currently maximized physical conditioning; even back during my days at the Siberian training camp, I could snap iron water pipes as thick as an arm with a single leg sweep.

Seeing this terrifying spectacle, a few of the students who were still standing lost all strength in their knees and collapsed to the ground.

The surrounding groans subsided a fraction at that moment, as if the injured students on the ground had been scared into forgetting their pain.

I walked up to the pretty, yellow-haired girl from earlier and grabbed her by the chest.

That's right! Once again, it was entirely intentional.

Clearly, she was far more developed than Ling Xi's classmate, and I could barely span her with one hand.

Feigning a whispered threat, I switched my grip and gave her a few vicious handfuls before letting her go.

Turning around, I saw that Chu Mengchu and the dozen boys were completely dumbfounded.

Instead of going over immediately, I walked off to the side, took out my phone, and dialed Sister Yuan's number.

"Xiaofan. Did you miss your older sister?" Sister Yuan answered with her usual greeting.

I chuckled softly, "Sister, I missed you to death."

Sister Yuan let out a sweet giggle. "Really? Then why haven't you come to see your sister?"

"I'll find time in the next couple of days. Right now, I'm behind Tianhe Vocational College of Technology, and I've beaten up a dozen or so students. Yep, their bones are broken. You need to send some people over right away to handle it, smooth things over, take the blame for the mess, and pay whatever medical expenses are necessary."

Sister Yuan's voice fell silent for a single second before she said with a hint of helplessness, "Xiaofan, aren't you supposed to be shadowing President Ling all day? How do you manage to stir up so much trouble?"

I smiled. "There shouldn't be any more after this. You wouldn't refuse to help me, would you?"

Sister Yuan laughed. "Alright! There's no helping a troublemaker like you. Who else could you be if not my precious boyfriend? Even if you committed murder, I'd still have to clean it up for you! But your sister has missed you terribly these past couple of days, so you'd better find some time to come over!"

"Mm, I miss you too, Sister. I'll definitely carve out some time in the next couple of days."

After hanging up, I let out a relaxed sigh of relief.

The feeling of only showing off without having to clean up the mess afterward was simply wonderful!

Returning to Chu Mengchu's side, I found her staring at me as if I were a complete stranger.

I ruffled her hair and smiled. "Mengmeng, do you believe now that it was at least a hundred times over?"

"Are you really my brother?" Chu Mengchu tilted her head upward, asking with absolute sincerity.

I couldn't help laughing out loud, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "Let's go, time to head back."

Chu Mengchu let out a cheer, threw her arms around me, her pretty face flushed with excitement, and hopped up and down. "I want my brother to carry me on his back."

"Hop on!"

Chu Mengchu instantly leaped up, affectionately wrapping her arms around my neck.

I hoisted her by the legs and began walking back. As we passed the dozen boys, I said indifferently, "Remember my words: don't ever come looking for my sister again. Protecting her is my job alone!"

The dozen boys lowered their heads, their faces pale, not daring to meet my eyes.
