Volume One, Chapter 11: The Card’s Password

Lin Dong’s voice was loud as he cursed, and Feng Xi’s sobbing pierced through the air. Da Fu was awakened by the noise, and no matter how hard Yong Ge tried, he couldn’t hold him back as he rushed out of the room.

“Don’t you dare hit my wife!” Da Fu stood protectively in front of Feng Xi. Lin Dong’s belt swung up and then lightly fell again.

“Da Fu, she’s not your wife yet. Only after sleeping together can she be your wife,” Lin Shengwang said nervously, watching Yong Ge’s dark expression, afraid he would blame them.

“We already slept together last night,” Da Fu stubbornly blocked Feng Xi.

“But you were still wearing clothes. Only sleeping without clothes counts,” Lin Dong said with a teasing smile at the corner of his mouth.

Feng Xi kept inching backward, terrified by Lin Dong’s gaze, as if he was about to tear her apart in the next second.

Da Fu clenched his fists and charged forward, striking Lin Dong’s body. “Bad man, you hit people, you’re a bad man.”

Da Fu was tall and bulky, and Lin Dong dared not fight back. He staggered backward, “Little ancestor, take it easy, take it easy.”

Yong Ge could no longer endure it and shouted, “Stop!”

The room instantly fell silent. “Take her inside.”

Lin Shengwang kicked Feng Xi’s calf, causing her to fall to her knees. He removed the rag from her mouth and stuffed several pills into it. “Swallow it! If you don’t consummate with Da Fu today, I’ll step in myself. There are a few brothers outside; you won’t like what happens then.”

Feng Xi was both terrified and furious, shouting, “Forget it! I’d rather die than comply!”

Her desperate and unwilling screams made Da Fu tremble. He hugged Yong Ge’s leg in fear and began to sob.

Yong Ge, who had remained silent, finally lost control and slapped Lin Shengwang across the face. “This is your precious daughter? Get out of here!”

The Lin father and son dared not hesitate and dragged Feng Xi out of the room.

Outside, they tied her up tightly in the yard, leaving her without even a thick coat, letting her freeze in the cold.

They went inside to speak in favor of Yong Ge while several men outside watched over Feng Xi.

This time, Feng Xi couldn’t bite herself to relieve the drug’s effect, but fortunately, the biting cold wind kept her body temperature from rising.
