Chapter 115: From Now On, Call Me Miss Dongfang
Wujue and the others each carried their injured opponents away, leaving Alice and Violet to face off, discussing which scene to choose for their final showdown.
"Let's look over there; I want to have a moment of glory, too." Alice scanned the street ahead and caught sight of a movie set nearby.
There was a peculiar scene set up there, resembling a cliff, with the words "Black Wood Cliff" inscribed upon it.
Could this be the legendary set of *The Smiling, Proud Wanderer*?
Alice stopped in front of the Black Wood Cliff and turned back to say, "Let’s do it here. It’s time for me to change my name."
"You're a killer; what do you need a name for? Who do you think you are?" Violet followed behind, laughing as she asked.
Alice slipped inside and vanished.
Violet's expression shifted, and she chased after her, only to find the room in disarray with clothes strewn everywhere, as if it had been thoroughly searched. She wondered what Alice was up to.
Just as she was feeling puzzled, Alice’s voice rang out from the roof. She giggled, "Oh my, what are you still looking for? I’ve already changed. Can’t you hear someone on the roof?"
Violet rushed outside and saw Alice, now dressed in a vibrant red robe, sitting on the roof beam, silently applying rouge with a piece of red paper.
The scene left the onlookers below completely stunned.
Even though Wujue had spent so much time with Alice, he had never realized that after applying makeup and transforming, she could be so beautiful, so enchanting.
Who was she portraying, anyway?
While everyone was bewildered, Xun'er whispered, "Lady Dongfang, my absolute favorite! Sister, your transformation is amazing!"
Everyone was confused—since when had they become so close?
As soon as Violet saw Alice’s look, she immediately understood. She laughed, "So you're performing *The Smiling, Proud Wanderer*, are you? No problem, I'll play along. Let's see who I can choose to counter you."
She ducked into the room and began changing her outfit as well. Alice, bored on the roof, fanned herself with her sleeve and laughed, "What could you possibly change into? Nothing more than another 033."
Sure enough, a moment later, Violet appeared in a parrot costume, hands on her hips, laughing at Alice, "Uncle Dongfang, give up now!"
Alice merely glanced at her with a cold sneer, "What a bore. Do you think that’s enough to defeat me? Shall I tell you how your mother died?"
"That’s a huge issue right there. A grudge for killing one's mother, and rumor has it that Yingying’s mother died of stupidity!" the fat man below provided commentary, looking genuinely worried for the ancients.
Violet felt as if she had been slapped across the face. Her face turned red with rage; she stomped her foot, leaped up, and launched an attack at Alice.
Alice didn't hold back. With a flick of her sleeve, Violet’s attack was rendered invisible and dissipated, truly evoking the feeling of the "Undefeated East."
Xun'er clapped excitedly, "Sister is amazing! Sister, you must not lose! Otherwise, when you come back, I’ll feed you bugs!"
The others broke into a cold sweat hearing this: "Is that a threat?"
As they spoke, Violet grew ashamed and angry, attacking Alice fiercely on the roof. Suddenly, she threw a smoke bomb and shouted, "Oh no, your Brother Chong is here!"
Alice glanced down for a split second, then floated into mid-air. As her sleeves billowed, she deflected the smoke bomb Violet had thrown, sending it straight back to hit the front of Violet’s dress.
A cloud of smoke erupted instantly. Fortunately, Violet held her breath just in time, nearly fainting from the fumes.
She kicked the projectile away, thinking to herself, *I refuse to believe I can't finish you off. Try again.*
This time, she whipped out a set of throwing darts and sent them zipping toward Alice.
For some reason, it was as if Alice were possessed by a soul; her movements became eerily masterful. She countered every move, and no matter what Violet threw at her, it all rebounded back onto Violet herself.
This turned into quite the spectacle. Violet kept attacking, only to keep hitting herself. In no time at all, she was covered in her own hidden weapons.
Spitting blood, she cried, "I'm not playing with you anymore! You're just a bully!"
She leaped off the roof, landed sprawling on the ground, and was "killed."
The Killer Twins led the applause, "Impressive! Well done, Sect Leader! You there, carry Violet away."
The fat man hurried over, dragging Violet away from the cliff, speechless.
Before she left, Violet managed to shout, "You cheated! You used hypnosis! I’m never doing cosplay with anyone again."
Watching this, everyone finally understood that Alice’s multiple personalities were truly formidable. To imitate the Sect Leader Dongfang with such majesty—she was truly worthy of being a top-tier assassin.
From the roof, Alice looked down at everyone with a desolate expression and asked, "Who’s next?"
Seeing that two of their own had fallen, the Killer Twins nodded, "It seems it's time for our trump card. Brother, you're up!"
He turned his body, and the other person, who had been trailing in his shadow, finally stepped out into the light.
Alice, sitting comfortably on the roof, suddenly felt an eerie chill wash over her. She glanced down and said, "You came quickly. Sit wherever you like. How do you intend to strike?"
The shadow crouched beneath the roof beam, remaining silent, waiting for an opportunity to close in on Alice. Only when she noticed his movement and shifted her position did he speak, "What, are you being shy? Are you that afraid that your Brother Chong has come? Take a good look at who I am."
In an instant, his form shifted. He appeared like a bold, heroic man, dancing with a precious sword as he leaped onto the roof. He lay down beside Alice and laughed, "Lady Dong, I’ve been looking for you for a long time. When shall we go steal wine and watch the stars again?"
Unexpectedly, he possessed the ability to disguise and shapeshift, instantly mimicking the appearance of Brother Chong to get close to Alice.
Alice glanced at him and said, "Sweet-talker, but you don't resemble him at all. Brother Lian, oh Brother Lian, stop wasting your efforts. You will never be him."
Suddenly, she reached out and struck him, intending to knock him off the roof with a single palm. To her surprise, the strike passed right through the twin's body—it was empty space.
"Have you forgotten that I am a shadow? I have no physical form. How can you hurt me?"
The shadow laughed, turning into countless figures—now Brother Chong, now Brother Lian—circling Alice, refusing to give up.
Alice stood up, seething with rage. Waving her sleeves, she thrust out sharp, lethal silver needles: "Do not dare insult him! Stop it!"
The silver needles pierced the shadow's body. This time, he seemed truly hurt; he froze in place, stopped all movement, and suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood, staining his palm red: "You really struck me? I am your... Wujue!"
The shadow’s appearance shifted in an instant. In a daze, it seemed as if Wujue’s face had coalesced in front of Alice, filled with profound sorrow.
In that moment, Alice hesitated. Unaware, she felt a dagger pierce deep through her body, and she was kicked off the roof.
Alice fell, lost in a trance. She couldn't remember how she had become so careless; it was simply that the face which had appeared so suddenly had broken her heart.
Just as the red figure was about to hit the ground, a shadow leaped forward, catching her steadily and saying, "Alright, you can go down and rest now."
It was none other than Wujue.
