Chapter 110: Ban Seals Kaguya
“How did you come here?” Kurozetsu muttered to himself, uneasy. The last person he wanted to see was Uchiha Madara. After all these years of manipulating Madara, now that Madara had allied with Orochimaru and abandoned the Eye of the Moon Plan, Kurozetsu suspected that the “Mother Rescue Plan” had been exposed.
This was a critical moment; nothing should go wrong.
Suddenly, Kurozetsu’s tone changed to one of delight. “Madara? It’s you, my true self! Ever since you left, the Akatsuki has fallen apart, scattered by Orochimaru. It’s wonderful that you’ve returned!”
He laughed heartily. “Now the Eye of the Moon Plan will surely succeed!”
Uchiha Madara looked at Kurozetsu with a faint smile, amused by the exaggerated expression and tone. “Stop pretending. Can you consider your appearance when you speak?”
At this moment, Kurozetsu was attached to Byakuju, who was transforming into a body of the Ōtsutsuki clan, in the crucial phase of reviving Kaguya.
Kurozetsu paused, lowered his head to look at himself, and said with some sadness, “I can explain. I didn’t know you would return. The Akatsuki only had Byakuju and me left. Byakuju voluntarily sacrificed himself to help me, which is why I’m like this. I am a manifestation of your will—I wouldn’t lie to you!”
Madara’s eyes gleamed with scorn. He was disdainful. At this critical moment, Kurozetsu was still trying to deceive him. Madara revealed his hand bluntly, “Stop pretending. I know you are Kaguya’s third son.”
At these words, Kurozetsu was stunned—his secret was indeed exposed!
Who could it be? Few in the world knew his secret; some might say he was the only one. So why was it exposed now?
But it didn’t matter. He felt confident now.
During their brief conversation, he sensed Byakuju’s body and found that it was mostly transformed with Ōtsutsuki traits—white skin, Rinnegan eyes, horns sprouting from the head.
In other words, Kaguya had been more than half revived.
Even if Madara acted now, he could not stop it; their mother would definitely be resurrected.
Kurozetsu chuckled darkly, lifted his head to look directly at Madara, and proudly declared, “You came one step too late.”
He did not believe Madara could stand against their mother.
Madara chuckled softly, sat cross-legged at the cave entrance, and said, “Not late; rather, a little early. I still need to wait for you.”
Indeed, it would take some time for Kaguya to be fully revived.
Kurozetsu was taken aback; Madara was quite arrogant.
The schemer who had plotted for thousands of years sneered coldly, “Don’t regret this!”
...
Madara would never regret it; he even thought Kaguya’s revival was too slow.
At this moment, spatial disturbances in the sky intensified. Upon careful sensing, it seemed that the arrivals were not alone.
Two forces descended to Earth through spatial portals.
On one side were members of the Ōtsutsuki clan; but who was the other?
This was not unexpected. Madara believed he needed to assist Orochimaru.
So things here would move faster.
After some thought, Madara pointed at Kurozetsu, and a blue chakra shot toward him.
Kurozetsu retreated warily but was cornered in the cave, with no escape. He was struck by Madara’s finger.
He quickly bent down to examine his body and found no harm; in fact, the speed of their mother’s revival accelerated!
Although he didn’t understand why, the result was good.
Stunned, Kurozetsu burst into laughter, mocking, “Madara, it seems you just helped me? Hahaha!”
Madara remained expressionless and calmly said, “Fool.”
He then flicked several more fingers, all chakra techniques aiding Kaguya’s revival. Kurozetsu did not avoid them but accepted them calmly.
Kurozetsu said, “You have no idea what you’re doing!”
Finally, Byakuju’s body completely transformed into that of the Ōtsutsuki clan. His consciousness was erased by Kaguya, and she was revived.
“Mother,” Kurozetsu called warmly.
As Byakuju’s body entirely became Ōtsutsuki, its appearance shifted automatically to a beautiful woman with long white hair. Horns adorned her head, and she wore a large white robe that enveloped her entire form.
“I am finally revived!”
The revived Kaguya sensed herself and suddenly realized her power had changed—it was not the expected Ten-Tails Jinchūriki body.
Instead, she possessed the Ōtsutsuki physique, the chakra of the Nine Tailed Beasts as a Jinchūriki, plus a green chakra unlike any less than that of the Ōtsutsuki and the Nine Tailed Beasts.
From Kaguya’s sleeve emerged Kurozetsu’s black head, timidly saying, “Mother, the plan has changed. I cannot recover your full power.”
Kaguya nodded. Although somewhat displeased, she still felt her current strength was formidable. It would not be difficult to reunify the Earth with some effort.
Then Kurozetsu spoke again softly, “Mother, this world might be different from your era. Though you are strong now, there are still a few who could defeat you...”
“Hm?” Kaguya was puzzled. She was now only slightly weaker than the full Ten-Tails Jinchūriki. With all nine Tailed Beasts under her command, who could possibly be stronger?
She was surprised.
Kurozetsu, like a child who had made a mistake, continued, “There’s a man named Orochimaru who developed three cultivation methods. By taking the corresponding medicines step by step and training accordingly, one can perfectly possess the bloodline of the Ōtsutsuki clan, even attain the Rinnegan and the power of the Tailed Beasts.”
Now Kaguya was truly shocked. No wonder she sensed something off about the nine Tailed Beasts inside her—they seemed dull, like replicas of the real Tailed Beasts.
The chakra progenitor’s expression was calm, speaking indifferently, “Then let us avoid those stronger than me for now, quietly gather chakra, and slowly develop.”
Kurozetsu nodded fervently, in agreement. “Yes, yes!”
At this moment, he pointed at Madara sitting cross-legged at the cave entrance and urged, “Mother, that’s someone I used before. He’s blocking the cave entrance. He’s not weak, but not strong either. You should drain him.”
Kaguya nodded coldly and stretched out her hand toward Madara. Vines and branches sprouted from the ground, attempting to entangle him.
Madara finally spoke, “You know the situation now? Then I shall act.”
He deliberately gave Kaguya and Kurozetsu time to understand the situation before moving.
Madara made no grand gesture; he simply glared, and the creeping vines were immediately blasted away.
Then his eyes turned into green Rinnegan, and he unleashed the “Chō: Chibaku Tensei” — the very jutsu that once sealed Kaguya.
Kaguya laughed coldly. Did she think she would be trapped by the same technique twice? As this thought crossed her mind, she suddenly found herself immobilized, bound by an unknown force.
She could only obediently be sealed again.
Kurozetsu was sealed along with her.
They were inside a cave. Soil and stones above gathered toward Kaguya, quickly forming a semicircular pit. A massive earth sphere floated in the air.
This was not merely the “Chō: Chibaku Tensei” ocular jutsu but also Madara’s sealing technique. Only those stronger than his ocular power could break the sphere.
Currently, only Orochimaru on Earth possessed such ability.
Looking up at the enormous floating earth sphere, Madara said, “Kurozetsu, this is the fate you earned by using me.”
He would not kill him but would wait until Kurozetsu’s painstaking plan spanning thousands of years was ruined, satisfying Madara’s sense of vengeance.
Kaguya’s furious voice echoed from within the sphere, “You said he wasn’t very strong! Why did you drag such an enemy to me?”
Kurozetsu stammered nervously, “Mother, no… I didn’t know… He shouldn’t be this strong…”
In his memory, Madara was strong but never stronger than their mother. There must be some misunderstanding.
At that moment, the two spatial portals in the sky fully opened.
From one portal emerged three members of the Ōtsutsuki clan.
From the other came the Six Paths Sage riding the giant toad sage, carrying the White Snake Sage and the Slug Sage.
A resentful voice came from the sphere. Kaguya said, “Three of my clan have arrived! That’s… Hagoromo? His aura makes me uneasy. Fortunately, I am sealed; otherwise…”
Her voice grew louder. “Kurozetsu, why did you revive me now? What are your intentions? Do you want to harm your own mother?”
Kurozetsu was full of grievance. “No, I’m not… I didn’t…”
...
Madara laughed heartily. After this laughter, the matter was over. It was a closure for his past.
Ignoring Kaguya and Kurozetsu inside the sphere, Madara looked up toward the horizon.
