Chapter 113: The End!

The Sage of Six Paths surely harbored some ulterior motive. Previously, Orochimaru had witnessed the Sage manipulating the reincarnations of his own two sons to perpetuate endless war. He was not a man who sought peace. Therefore, it made no sense that after foreseeing a future where Orochimaru united the universe, the Sage would still willingly assist him. From the perspective of war and peace, they remained adversaries. It was clear, then, that either the Sage was speaking nonsense, carelessly uttering words, or he was being deliberately vague, hiding deeper secrets.

Orochimaru made his move. Whatever the truth, it would be revealed through battle.

He placed his finger on the center of his forehead, where a mark bearing the character “Mansion” appeared—an emblem of the Nine Roshō Mansions’ power. With a flick of his hand, nine estates materialized before him, aligned vertically. Crimson energy suffused them, shaping into a nine-tiered pagoda. At present, only three gates of this pagoda were visible.

Orochimaru formed hand seals and unleashed the summoning jutsu of Roshō Gate. With his current strength, no matter where the other six gates were, they would be summoned forth.

As expected, six streams of red light flew in, completing the nine-tiered tower.

The Sage of Six Paths showed no expression, as if anticipating this. First, he crushed the spirit of the Pu clan with a pinch, then reached out toward Orochimaru with the same gesture, saying, "I bear no hostility. There is no need for combat."

Orochimaru gave no reply. The Sage’s invisible hand was blocked by the Nine-Tiered Roshō Pagoda.

Watching this, Madara Uchiha understood: the Sage was employing soul techniques—unseen and intangible arts—which explained how he had easily crushed the spirits of the Tao and Pu clans with such strange methods.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"

Madara spewed flames. Yet these were no ordinary fires, but blue flames born of his fusion with the power of the Death World. Years ago, he had studied the Death World’s forces, enabling these flames to harm souls.

At this moment, the Sage finally used both hands. One still held the White Snake Sage and Slug Sage, but now free, the other hand joined, forming a prayer-like gesture before pushing outward.

Madara’s blue flames were repelled.

Just then, the time-freezing sealing jutsu cast by Pu before being crushed charged forward. But neither Orochimaru nor the Sage feared such time techniques.

Orochimaru, however, controlled the Nine-Tiered Roshō Pagoda to amplify the time technique, causing it to mutate and affect souls.

Calm and unhurried, the Sage pushed forward with one hand, blocking Madara’s blue flames and the time-freezing seal. The other hand traced through empty space, tearing open a rift revealing a scene from the Death World.

"Ten Thousand Ghosts’ Night March!" the Sage shouted.

From the Death World, ten thousand souls suddenly awoke, their eyes vacant yet clearly under the Sage’s control. They opened their mouths in a savage howl—an overwhelming roar that could shatter an enemy’s soul.

“Wail!”

The howl echoed. Tao and Pu, not yet fully dead, heard the sound; their eyes rolled back, and they perished utterly. Nearby, the Kin clan lost half their life as well.

Both Orochimaru and Madara suffered damage, Madara more severely. Orochimaru’s eyes narrowed, preparing to unleash a strike he had never used before.

“Power Sphere!”

Orochimaru extended his hand. Before him, the combined forces of the Ōtsutsuki clan, the tailed beasts, and Sage Mode merged into a single green orb.

But this was not merely Orochimaru’s power. At that moment, all those worldwide who had consumed his cultivation elixirs uncontrollably released their chakra.

Their chakra surged, merging into the green sphere before Orochimaru.

Globally, there were over two hundred million people; at least fifty million possessed chakra. This was an attack harnessing the strength of fifty million.

The Sage’s gaze sharpened. His left eye foresaw the future, the right observed the present. Suddenly, his brow twitched as he said, “Orochimaru, you are ruthless. No more fighting. I’m leaving. By the way, I’ve taken Sasuke and Naruto with me. My two sons have utterly failed. I’ll teach them a lesson. Until we meet again.”

In the future he glimpsed, this very strike from Orochimaru not only destroyed him but annihilated Earth itself—an act of madness solely to kill him.

Stepping upon the Great Toad Sage, his body grew faint and transparent until he vanished.

Along with him disappeared Naruto, Sasuke, and the Great Toad Sage from Earth.

...

The curtain fell. The Sage of Six Paths departed with the Death World, Naruto, Sasuke, and the Great Toad Sage. The White Snake Sage and Slug Sage, hindered by the spiritual array and Orochimaru’s present power, became mere mounts.

The summoning realm was unified under Orochimaru’s name.

Now, there was no one capable of opposing Orochimaru.

Kabuto Yakushi returned from another continent. The mission was a complete success. That land was still an era dominated by samurai, allowing the cultivation methods to spread easily.

Previously, population counts considered only the ninja continent. Including the other continent, the global population approached four hundred million.

All four hundred million would consume Orochimaru’s elixirs and become ninjas.

The Ōtsutsuki Kin clan, barely surviving, was slain by Madara. Their corpses, along with those of the Ōtsutsuki Pu and Tao clans, contained immense power. Orochimaru transformed them into tools and submerged them within the three suns.

The “Global Network” was fully realized. Orochimaru could use it to cast the revised Infinite Tsukuyomi, connecting with everyone worldwide.

...

Half a year passed. On the top floor of the War Castle, a high-level gathering convened.

Participants included Orochimaru, Madara Uchiha, Kabuto Yakushi, Kimimaro, Itachi Uchiha, Jiraiya—Earth’s current elite leaders.

They deliberated Earth’s future.

“Orochimaru-sama, it’s almost time,” Kabuto said.

The meeting was nearing its end; it was Orochimaru’s turn to speak.

Orochimaru stood. A slight movement, yet all present instantly fell silent, eyes fixed on him.

Their gazes held resentment, respect, fear, worship—complex emotions all directed at Orochimaru.

He cared little for others’ opinions, steadfastly following his own path. The facts proved his success: he had unified the world.

He was the first recorded person in history to unify the globe.

And the first to completely end war.

Though his methods involved immortality and sterilization...

Orochimaru’s achievements were undeniable.

He looked over the assembly and smiled, “There’s nothing much to say. Today is the last day of the era of the universal ninja. Tomorrow at dawn, we enter the interstellar age. We will pilot Earth to the Ōtsutsuki star region—we will visit the ancestral home of the Ōtsutsuki clan.”

...

After dinner, Madara and Orochimaru walked down a slightly shadowed path. Madara recalled their battle with the Sage six months prior.

“You gathered the power of over fifty million to kill the Sage of Six Paths. Were you serious? If such power erupted on Earth, wouldn’t Earth be destroyed?”

Orochimaru smiled, “I was just scaring the Sage.”

Madara nodded, “I thought so too. If not just to scare him, Earth would surely be lost. That would be too great a loss.”

“Hmm,” Orochimaru responded indifferently.

“No, wait!”

Madara suddenly grew serious. “The Sage can see the future. If you were merely bluffing, would he have run away?”

Orochimaru grinned, “Who knows?”

Madara stopped, watching Orochimaru’s retreating figure, then smiled and quickened his pace to catch up.

That was Orochimaru, after all.
