Notification of Tomorrow’s Release

Orochimaru of the Darkest Hour Ten updates per week 1032 words 2026-03-05 21:20:44

First of all, my heartfelt thanks to my editor, Wakaba—without him, there would be no continuation to this book.

It's been nearly two months since I started writing this novel, and now it's finally time to put it on the shelves. I originally planned to launch it at 200,000 words, as that's the standard for most works. Unfortunately, my writing speed leaves much to be desired—two chapters a day is my absolute limit—so I could only manage 170,000 words.

In any case, I'm deeply grateful to all of you, especially to the outstanding group leader "Old Faces, New Looks," whose appreciation and recommendations have been instrumental to the book's success. Without that, I probably would have faded into obscurity.

Whether you're a reader who plans to support the book by subscribing in the future, or someone who has decided to leave after reading this far, I thank you all. Without your unwavering support, writing would be nothing but a torment.

Every day, seeing recommendation votes and comments brings me immense joy—truly explosive happiness.

Of course, this doesn't include the trolls…

Some other authors suggest simply ignoring or deleting negative comments, since they're already established enough that losing one comment is nothing to them. But for me, I can't quite bring myself to delete any; every comment is precious.

I've rambled on, but these are simply my heartfelt emotions at this moment. Keep going!

Now, regarding updates: although two chapters a day is usually my limit, if I don't laze around on weekends, I can manage three or even four chapters in a day—it's just that I'm a bit lazy…

So, here's the plan: for every 500 in rewards, I'll add another chapter. In reality, I only receive half of that, which is quite amusing.

As for the plot, you may have noticed that the pacing has always been very fast—blazingly fast, even—but don't worry, we're still far from the conclusion.

I'm working hard to read those hugely popular novels, studying their narrative techniques, plots, and writing styles, hoping that my own work will improve over time.

I've already mapped out the future storyline on my computer, so there's no need to worry about the series suddenly being abandoned.

If you have any suggestions or ideas, feel free to leave them in the review section or at the end of the chapters—I'll do my best to incorporate them into the outline.

If I ever write something you don't like or think is terrible, I hope you'll let me know—either point it out directly or scold me gently in the comments. The most important thing is to explain the problem clearly.

When I'm writing, it's so easy to get lost in my own thoughts and not realize if something is poorly done. I suppose that's what they call "self-indulgence."

I hope everyone will remind me if needed.

To sum up, the book is about to be officially released, and I hope you'll consider subscribing to the first release.

The final results may not be great, and I have no idea how many of the more than a thousand of you will choose to subscribe, but to everyone who has read my book, I just want to say—thank you!

------------Ten chapters a week.

I'd like to recommend a book: "Marvel's Happy Member."

And finally, my thanks to "Fat Cat Da Shi" for the generous reward!

A timid confession: today's update will be postponed until tomorrow… I'm off to bed now. I'll get up early and write as much as I can—whatever I finish, I'll post.
